As a UI designer you implement, iterate, and extend established visual styles guides that reflect a brand, enforce a language, and inject beauty and life into a product, as well as create new style guide documentation as required. You contribute ideas and collaborate as part of a distributed, multi-discipline team to develop and define and refine the visual design of new products and features. You participate in user evaluations of the product and service to identify issues and improve clarity of visual communication; collaborate and provide feedback to cross-functional teams to ensure creative quality.
Your key credentials include
Confidence to deliver above role successfully.
Min 2-3, max 4 years work experience as a graphic, interaction or visual designer.
A portfolio demonstrating strong and surprising digital visual design skills (incl. you ability to demonstrate various stages of the development process).
Ability to design for native environments (iOS & Android).
Exceptional visual & interaction design skills.
Proficiency of standard UI and Visual Design design tools (e.g. AdobeCC, Sketch, etc.).
General understanding of UI/UX-principles.
Ability to iterate designs quickly and switch between different projects.
Proven prototyping skills at various levels of fidelity and different stages of product launch.
The ability to self direct within a growing startup environment.
Degree in Visual/UI/Interaction design or equivalent experience.
Experience with agile processes & mindset.
Comfortable in an ambiguous start-up environment.
Ability to prioritise and manage work.
Curiosity in Insur-, Fintech trends & technologies.
Due to the nature of activities, proficiency in English is desired and in German preferred.
